In 2011 Sam Blyth was named Honorary Consul of The Kingdom of Bhutan to Canada. As Honorary Consul Mr. Blyth works to support continued cultural understanding and friendship between the two countries.

Travel to Bhutan
All tourists to Bhutan must travel on a pre-planned, prepaid, guided package tour or custom-designed travel program. Once their package has been confirmed, the tour operator will process all visa applications. There is no independent travel or visa application without an approved tour operator.
