e 2010 the Bhutan Canada Foundation has supported the Bhutan Dental Mission as they provide vital dental services to communities in Eastern Bhutan through an annual dental camp.

In 2012, a group of six Canadians traveled to Bartsham where they saw over 300 patients, completed 101 fillings and extracted 249 teeth. They also offered oral hygiene instruction to hundreds of students and dozens of teachers and helped to implement an oral health program in the community.
